Massage therapy could also be described as manual therapy. It involves applying pressure to the bones, muscles and tendons. Massage may define a range of massage techniques that vary in the way they are applied and the pressure applied. It also depends on how the person using the massage, massage therapist, and the technique of contact. A lot of massage therapists know using these techniques to aid the patients. Patients who are treated to massage may choose to apply pressure , where and when and the frequency at which it's applied.
